ATEX Annular Load Cells for Marine Application 📰
6th Apr 2018Despatched this week and off to the UAE are these six stainless steel annular load cells. ATEX certified for use in Zones 1 & 2, they will be used on a new build vessel project for pre-tensioning of bolts. There a two designs – one rated to 225 tonnes and the other 290 tonnes. Both have the same diameter of 165mm, but have centre hole diameters of 65mm and 73mm. The larger capacity load cells are also slightly taller at 200mm versus 150mm. Each is supplied with 20m of heavy duty armoured cable and accuracy achieved was 0.6% of rated load.
