10kN bi-directional stainless steel load pins for the Rail industry 📰

Just completed are the first of a batch of 10kN bi-directional stainless steel load pins. Used in the rail industry, they will replace existing pins in the rail points mechanism to monitor the force taken to move the rail points. This allows rail operators to identify specific rail points that have force readings outside of normal operating parameters and therefore alert maintenance personnel of the requirement to carry out checks and undertake any required repairs/maintenance.
