Super Duplex Load Pins for Extreme Environment Use 📰

Just completed an on their way to our customer are these two 7.5te rated load pins. They will be installed in the sheaves of a crane operating in a copper processing plant, where fluid in large tanks used as part of the Electrowinning process is largely composed of sulfuric acid. This creates acid vapor that is highly corrosive, requiring the load pins to be manufactured from corrosion resistant super duplex and hermetically sealed to IP69.  The load pin cable assembly also had to be suitable for long term use in harsh environmental conditions. The crane itself has four sheaves, with one load pin installed across two sheaves. They were also supplied with double keeper plates for anti-rotation protection and 3.1 material certification.
